10/30/02   Moody Blues Concert Dodge Theater, Phoenix Az 

                 It was my first time at the Dodge Theater, I have heard mixed reviews about the place. Maybe it was where I sat but I enjoyed the show completely. Glenda and I sat in the 3rd row, between Ray and Justin however, two seats at the other end of the row remained empty and so we moved over, GREAT SEATS

              The band sounded great, played all of my favorite songs.  They did a few from 'Strange Times' EXCEPT "Haunted", wish they would put it back in, great song!  I especially enjoyed Ray's solo with the flute. I was wishing for a camera! The lighting on him was a neat picture.  I enjoyed the fact that at the end we were allowed to get real close to the stage and watch the band do their final songs, it was a nice Moody crowd no pushing or shoving Except for one drunk After the show as Glenda and I were leaving her car seemed to be driving itself! And guess where it took us, around the corner to where the vans and Limo were waiting to take the guys to their next destination! So we parked and went over, there we met some old friends Carol and Betsy.  We got to see the guys leave they didn't say anything to us but it was a nice moment, and after we all went to the Hard Rock, sat and talked Moody talk! It was great to see old friends and the concert was a special memory. Glenda is off to Vegas and I will post her review when she gets back!
